The NRA 40th Army Group, commonly known as the Ma Clique, is a warlord state in north-central China. It is bordered by Seihoku Homengun to the north, the Border Defense Administration of Sinkiang to the west, the Kingdom of Tibet to the south, and the Provincial Government of Xikang to the south-east.
The 40th Army Group is one of the last embers of a still independent China after the end of the Second Sino-Japanese War, still raiding the Seihoku Homengun in defiance of them and their Japanese masters. The 40th Army Group has become a bastion for republican refugees and former KMT generals.
