Alexander Medvedev (born 29th August 1911) is the leader of the Perm Antifascist Committee, a resistance group fighting against the rule of the Aryan Brotherhood in the city of Perm.
In-game[]
Medvedev can appear in one of two circumstances.
- If Onega defeats the unifier of Western Russia and forms the Northern Russian Republic, a representative from Onega will send Ivan Smirnov to meet with Medvedev. As Smirnov and Medvedev were childhood friends and soldiers in arms, the two will embrace each other, and after a night of drinking, will sign a treaty of friendship the next day. The Perm Antifascist Committee subsequently becomes a client state of the Northern Russian Republic, with Medvedev as head of state.
- If Vyatka unifies western Russia, and the Constitutional Democratic Party wins the elections, he'll appear in an event where he will express surprise, noting that he owes his friend Isaak a bottle of vodka for losing a bet he made. In another event at the super-regional stage for Vyatka, Medvedev pays respects to his wife, who was killed by the Aryan Brotherhood.
Trivia[]
- Originally, Medvedev was the leader of the Aryan Brotherhood, taking the name Andreas Maier. However, since this portrayal of Medvedev (a loyal Soviet soldier and anti-fascist in real life) was out-of-character and offensive, especially with the risk of his surviving family finding out due to constantly searching the internet for mentions of him, he was replaced by Alexey Dobrovolsky and changed into the commander of an anti-Aryan Brotherhood resistance group.
