Franklin D. Roosevelt (born January 30, 1882) was the 32th president of the United States from March 4, 1933 to January 20, 1941. He took office following the presidency of Herbert Hoover and was succeeded by Thomas E. Dewey.
Trivia
The original lore did not have Roosevelt serve at all, as originally, his New Deal policies were seen as too similar to the New Economic Plan that was enacted in the Soviet Union. This was later changed so that he did run, but instead of running for a third term (which is what happened in real life - he also ran for a fourth term, which he won, but died 82 Days In), he followed the example set by George Washington, the first president (who in turn, was following the example set by Cincinnatus), where he did not run after serving out 2 full terms.
