French Algeria is overseas department of the French State, effectively divided into Iberian and Italian parts during the Triumvirate invasion of Algeria. At the moment, French Algeria controls only the capital, the city of Algiers. De-dure Algeria borders with Spanish Morocco to the west, the Tuareg Confederation of Azawad to the southwest, the Sultanate of Aïr to the southeast, and Italian Libya and the Kingdom of Tunisia to the east.
Judging by the teasers, French Algeria was supposed to appear as a French client state that would fall into civil war after the Burgundian invasion of the metropolis. The civil war was to involve the Secret Armed Organization (which was the successor to French Algeria and would restore it in the event of victory), Iberian and Italian forces, and the Republic of Algeria
At the moment, Algeria is pre-divided between Italy and Iberia, and the city of Algiers is directly controlled by France.
