Igor Konstantinovich Sakharov (Russian:Игорь Константинович Сахаров born: 7 August 1912 in Saratov, Saratov Governorate, Russian Empire) is a general in Vyatka army.
Biography[]
He is the Son of Konstantin Vyacheslavovich Sakharov, an Imperial Russian and later White Army general, who fought in Siberia during the Russian Civil War. Following the end of the Civil War, his father took the family into exile to Germany.
During the 1930s Igor served in the armies of Argentina, Uruguay and China.
He also participated in Spanish Civil War as part of a Francoist force. During the war he also became a member of the Falange, and was soon promoted to lieutenant (the highest rank for a foreigner in the Spanish Army) and received a number of military awards.
