The Kingdom of Denmark is a Nordic country and is the southern most of the Scandinavian nations. Denmark lies southwest of the Kingdom of Sweden and south of Reichskommissariat Norwegen and is bordered to the south by the Greater Germanic Reich. Denmark is a member of the Einheitspakt, due to its status as a puppet of Germany.

Early modern history[]
Denmark has a long history of feuding with its neighbors. They lost Norway to the Swedish in 1814, and their southern territories were taken by Prussia (later the German Empire) following the Second Schleswig war in 1864. Denmark declared neutrality in the First World War, however they received their southern lands back from Germany following the war.
World War II[]
When the war first broke out, Denmark declared its neutrality, but this was broken in 1940, when the German army invaded the country. Resistance was short lived and the government surrendered on the condition that the Nazis would stay out of the government and allow it to run without interference. Denmark remained under occupation until the end of the war.
Post-war[]
Denmark remains under heavy German influence, and its economy and government are tied directly to Germania. Germany retains a strong military presence in Denmark.
