Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev (born 15th April 1894) was a Soviet politician and associate of Joseph Stalin.

In earlier versions[]

He was the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the West Siberian People's Republic, commonly known as Tyumen. He was also one of the potential Stalinist unifiers of Russia.

Trivia[]

Several events that, in real life, were associated with Khrushchev, are given to other leaders in The New Order.

  • Instead of Khrushchev planning a visit to Disneyland (which was cancelled over security reasons, something that Khrushchev was reportedly disappointed by), instead, Martin Bormann will visit the theme park, amusingly forcing himself not to have fun.
  • Khrushchev's quote "We Will Bury You!" line is uttered by Curtis LeMay during Bormann's visit to the White House if LeMay is in charge.
  • If Valery Sablin opts to work with the OFN in his regional focus tree, one event will have him try Pepsi and enjoy it.
    • Interestingly, him being able to peacefully reunify with an authoritarian socialist Sablin may be a reference to another event in real life, where Sablin wrote a letter to Khrushchev, asking him to make the communist party more honest.
  • The Virgin Lands campaign can be enacted by Novosibirsk in their starting focus tree.
  • Originally, Khrushchev's unification used the same song as Kaganovich, The Anthem of the Bolshevik Party. However, this was changed to the song, "The Cossack's Song", in the Cutting Room Floor update.
