The Omani Civil War is one of the conflicts that emerge during the Oil Crisis and one of the few conflicts where all three blocs are involved. The war in Oman is fought on three sides: Sultanate Muscat of Oman, led by Qaboos bin Said Al Aaid, which was the former Italian colony, controlling much of Muscat and the surrounding area. Then there is the Imamate of Oman, led by Ghalib Ahinai, controlling much of the Saudi border and is supported by Japan and the Co-Prosperity Sphere. Finally, there is the Dhofar Rebellion, led by Layla Fakhro, located in the Dhofar province of Oman, supported by the German Reich. Much like Egypt, Sudan and Yemen, all three sides have the potential of winning Oman into either the OFN, Einheitspakt or Co-Prosperity Shere.

The Omani Civil War is also another battleground for the State of Guangdong to deploy a PTRG division, mainly helicopters.

Outcomes[]

If the Sultanate of Muscat and Oman wins, they remain in the Italian status quo and depending if Italy joined the OFN, Oman will align with the OFN.

If the Imamate of Oman wins the civil war, it is likely that the Imamate aligns with the Co-Prosperity Sphere.

If the Dhofar Rebellion wins, Oman will align with the Einheitspakt but not join it unlike the Sultanate.
