Valerian Kobakhia (1929-1961) was an Abkhaz freedom fighter and member of the Transcaucasian Soviet as one of the Tiflis Three alongside Vasil Mzhavanadze and Lavrentiy Beria. He was publicly executed along with his comrades in he group in 1961, and has since become a martyr to freedom fighters in Kaukasien.
